TERMS OF SERVICE
Last updated: April 29, 2026
1. Acceptance
By using Sappy, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Sappy Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app or web companion.
2. What Sappy Is
Sappy is a social mood check-in app. It lets users choose happy or sad, view aggregate mood signals, connect with friends, nudge friends, and control visibility with Ghost Mode.
3. Age
You must be at least 13 years old to use Sappy. If the law where you live requires parent or guardian permission for online services, you may use Sappy only with that permission. Sappy is not designed for children under 13.
4. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for your account, credentials, and activity. You agree not to impersonate another person, automate check-ins, scrape user data, bypass security controls, harass users, or use nudges, reports, friend requests, or profiles abusively.
5. Social Features
Friend profiles, visible circles, nudges, notifications, blocking, reporting, and Ghost Mode are social features. Ghost Mode hides your current mood and friend list, but your profile identity can still be visible and your current check-in may still count in anonymous aggregate totals.
6. Not Medical Advice
Sappy is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, therapy tool, crisis service, or mental-health treatment.
Sappy does not evaluate your health or tell you what to do. If you may harm yourself or someone else, contact emergency services or a trusted local crisis resource immediately.
7. Safety and Enforcement
We may remove accounts, restrict features, or investigate behavior that appears abusive, unsafe, automated, fraudulent, or designed to attack the service.
8. Availability and Accuracy
Sappy is provided as available. Mood percentages are live app signals, not scientific polling, clinical measurement, or a guarantee that a place or group feels a certain way.
9. Contact
Legal, support, safety, and privacy requests can be sent to info@neuval.be.
